Miami Spice Preview: J&G Grill and Pubbelly!

Miami Spice doesn't even hit town until August 1...but our Miami chefs are already gearing up with some preview tastings...starting with Chef Bradley Kilgore of J&G Grill and Chef Jose Mendin of Pubbelly!

The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau organizes Miami Spice, a specially curated restaurant promotion that showcases the best of Miami cuisine. During August and September, restaurants offer three-course meals featuring signature dishes created by world-renowned chefs.

Miami Spice 2014 will run from Friday, August 1st ā€“ Tuesday, September 30th.

Chefs Brad Kilgore and Jose Mendin To Preview Their Spice Creations

With Exclusive One-Night-Only Event

The 13th Annual Miami Spice Restaurant Program (August & September 2014) is just around the corner and to kick-start the celebration the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is launching a series of special Miami Spice Mash-Ups, chef collaborations at which each chef will preview select dishes from their upcoming Spice menus.

The first of three Mash-Ups will take place on Wednesday, June 25  7 pm ā€“ Chef Brad Kilgore of J&G Grill at St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort will host visiting Chef Jose Mendin of the Pubbelly family of restaurants.  Together, the two will serve a six course meal previewing menu items from their respective Miami Spice menus.  The meal will finish with a duo of desserts, one from Mendin the other from J&Gā€™s pastry chef, Antonio Bachour. 

Seating is limited to 40 attendees; reservations must be made in advance and can be done so by calling J&G Grill at (305) 993-3333.  Price: $65 per person( excludes tax and tip ), includes a complimentary cocktail featuring Botran Rum. 

Additional destinations and chef line-ups for July and September Mash-Ups will be released at a later date.
