Weekly Nibble: Vino & Vinyasa, Slow Food Social, Finka Brunch Duel, Labor Day picnic @PAMM

Each week, MIAbites will feature The Weekly Nibble, highlighting Miami "foodie" events and special promotions for the upcoming week. Please note that specific details, dates and prices are subject to change, so please call ahead to confirm event details.

Friday September 4th- Circa 39 boutique Hotel on Miami Beach hosts Vino & Vinyasa yoga classes every Friday in their tropical courtyard from 6:30 -8:30 pm followed by a tasting of artisanal wines from their Wunderbar and light bites from Jules Kitchen. $25 pre-pay/ $30 at door. Sunday September 6th- 12 noon-3 pm. The Local Craft Food & Drink in Coral Gables hosts a Kitchen and Cocktail Brunch Collaboration with Chef Eileen Andrade of Finka Table and Tap and Chef Phil Bryant of The Local Craft Food & Drink.  Each chef will alternate preparing and presenting food courses, which will be paired with a craft cocktail as the respective bartenders duel it out as well.  Tickets are priced at $95 pp and available on Eventbrite link here .  The Local Craft Food & Drink 150 Giralda Ave. Coral Gables, FL

Monday September 7- Labor Day- PAMM will open to the public on Monday, September 7 for a Labor Day Picnic and BBQ celebration from 11- 3pm on the Verde terrace. Join us for a barbecue with live music by indie funk group Magic City Hippies and barbecue specials by Verde including burgers, hot dogs, kettle chips and brownies. Cool down and enjoy the views with drink specials including rum punch and mixed drinks for $9 each and wine, beer, soft drinks and lemonade for $6 each. Guests are also invited to explore the museum and exhibitions Project Gallery: Bik van der Pol, Poetics of Relation and more. Tuesday September 8th-  Slow Food Miami will kick-off this season’s “Snail Social” roaming happy hour series on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 6 – 8 pm at Vagabond Restaurant & Bar. Enjoy an evening with Chef Alex Chang at the helm while mingling with other celebrated Miami chefs and local producers and food supporters in celebration of Miami’s growing season start. Guests will enjoy special Happy Hour prices on signature bites and cocktails. while learning about the Slow Food healthy eating mission. Admission is free and open to the public. La Mar by Gastón Acurio is proud to introduce Eleftherios Kraounakis (Lef), who will head up the location’s new, expanded bar and nightlife program. Lef has created nine new Signature Cocktails inspired by South America, Asia and the Mediterranean utilizing innovative ingredients and modern techniques. El Clasicoincorporates Peru’s famed spiced purple corn juice, Chicha Morada, in a tangy, yet slightly sweet cocktail with vodka, lime and sparkling wine. In the Albahaca Pisco, Lef infuses pisco and vodka with refreshing cucumber and lemongrass before adding cucumber-basil puree, lime and bitters. To add to the atmosphere, there will be live music by local and world-renowned DJ's every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8-11pm.
