Friday April 22nd-  Today is Earth Day, and SUSHISAMBA Miami Beach and SUGARCANE raw bar grill are going to be serving up a couple of gorgeous veggie-infused dishes throughout the week of April 18th.  Executive Chef Cesar Vega of SUSHISAMBA Miami Beach will be showcasing the Jardim de Primavera, which includes seared foie gras, petite pickled vegetables, purple potato causa, sesame ‘soil’ and truffle aioli ($19). Available in vegetarian and vegan variations, the dish incorporates fresh flowers, seasonal vegetables and a bed of ‘soil’ created from black sesame seed dust.  Executive Chef Timon Balloo of SUGARCANE raw bar grill will be showcasing his Harissa Carrot Salad with Golden Raisins & Curry Yogurt ($12).

Saturday April 23rd and Sunday April 24th- The South Florida Cake and Candy Expo sets up shop at the Miami Airport Convention Center at Doubletree by Hilton located at 711 NW 72 AVE, this weekend. Saturday April 23rd- TALDE Miami Beach welcomes guests back for the second installment of the monthly brunch series, Brunch Life. Appropriately themed to match TALDE’s laid-back hip-hop vibe, this month’s day rager, Bel Biv DeBrunch, is inspired by hip-hop and R&B classics from BBD and the 90s. Chef Dale Talde has partnered up with Miami favorite, DJ Tom Laroc, to host a not-to-be-missed blowout party with old school beats and all you can eat soul food in the form of fried chicken and waffle towers paired with collard greens, watermelon salad and mac & cheese, available for $28 per person. Sunday April 24th- SOBEWFF and NYCWFF festival founder, Lee Brian Schrager, brings his hometown of Miami yet another foodie fête on Sunday, April 24 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at Magic City Casino to celebrate the launch of his third cookbook, AMERICA’S BEST BREAKFASTS: Favorite Local Recipes from Coast to Coast. The AMERICA’S BEST BREAKFASTS FESTIVAL®, will feature more than 40 of Schrager’s favorite South Florida spots serving up sweet and savory ideations of the most “important” meal of the day.  Curated with the support of local food authority Burger Beast, guests will enjoy some of the best eggs, pancakes, waffles, donuts, including a matzo brei from Chef Allen Susser for guests observing Passover, and more. Monday April 25th- Blue Collar will hold its first-ever “2016 Blue Collar Matzo Chase”, which will stretch across the City.  In keeping with the Passover Holiday, Blue Collar Chef/Owner Danny Serfer and his staff plan to hide 2’x2’ cardboard matzos all around Miami. On the morning of Monday, April 25th, Blue Collar will tweet out a photo and a riddle to help those searching for the matzos’ whereabouts. Based on the Passover tradition of hiding a matzo called the Afikomen, people who find the hidden matzo are asked to reply to @bluecollarmiami with a unique hashtag written on the matzo and a photo of themselves with their location. Blue Collar’s Chase gives all Miamians a chance to partake in High Holy Day fun. Prizes will include a $50 gift card to Blue Collar, a unique Blue Collar T-Shirt and Heroes of the Torah commemorative glassware. NOTE: To make the holiday preparation easier, Blue Collar is offering its first-ever Passover Basket! Wednesday April 27thThe Miami Beach EDITION invites locals and guest to go back in time, with a historic tour and 3 course dinner honoring the era, when the property was the glorious Seville Beach Hotel. On Wednesday, April 27 at 7:00PM The Miami Beach EDITION will host a historic property tour lead by none other than the hotel's Director of Culture & Entertainment Josh Wagner, who will showcase all the unique historical elements that live within the property. The tour will conclude with a delicious 3-course dinner and wine pairing at Market, Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s gourmet eatery. The entire experience will be priced at $75 per person. Wednesday April 27th- Bazi Miami Beach hosts its next Kaiseki dinner. Chef Mike Pirolo and team have added two seating options at 6PM and 9PM, each limited to eight seats. Adventurous diners can enjoy an extravagant one-of-a-kind experience featuring 10-12 courses of carefully curated and artistically arranged dishes prepared by the James Beard Award semi-finalist, Chef Mike Pirolo, and Chef de Cuisine Brett Collier. Each course will be paired with a unique beverage by Beverage Director William Rivas. Hosted monthly at the restaurant’s downstairs bar, an intimate setting limited to eight seats, each seating. Friday April 29th- Join world-renowned chef, restaurateur and TV host Tom Colicchio and Indulge Miami editor Evan Benn, Ambassador for the Evening, at Slow Food Miami’s “Snail of Approval” Tasting Party. Miami’s “Freshest Night Out”, will be held on Friday, April 29, from 7PM – 10PM at 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach.  Guests will savor bites from 30 of the city’s top farm-to-table chefs and cool off with compelling cocktails by GREY GOOSE Vodka, specialty wines provided by Vinecraft and craft beer from Miami Brewing Co. and Titanic Brewery, amongst other local breweries. The soirée will be perfectly situated at 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach with breathtaking views of the Atlantic. The first 50 tickets sold are priced at $85. After that, tickets will be $95 per person.
