Don’t want to take dad out? Grill at home using these tips from The Forge’s Executive Chef Julie Doyle to help you make dad the perfect meal:

  • Let the grill do the work!

  • When the food is ready to rotate or turn, it will easily come off of the grill. The more you fuss, the more you damage the food.

  • Get the grill as hot as possible before use, make sure it's clean, and that you're using a grille spray to help prevent sticking.

  • If you're multitasking - trying to cook indoors while cooking on the grill outside.  Think about ways to use your grill as if it's a stove top. You can put pans directly on the grill and they will heat up as if you are cooking on your range.
