5 Restaurants To Put Back On Your Radar

One of the most exciting things about the booming restaurant scene in Miami is how easy it is to dine out often without ever repeating a restaurant. It seems as though there's a new spot opening every week making it tough to keep up and easy to lose track of older favorites. This week we're revisiting a few spots that are always worth the hype, even if they've been out of the spotlight lately.

On Miami Beach... 27 Restaurant

Located at the Freehand Miami, this tropical oasis is serving food from all over the world. From harrisa carrots to kimchi fried rice, the menu has bites for every palette. If you don't start the meal with Griot & Pikliz (crispy pork shoulder and spicy slaw) then you're doing it all wrong.

and also... The Dutch at W South Beach

For seven years, The Dutch at W South Beach has been keeping it fresh. Chefs Adonay Tafur, Josh Gripper and Richard Vaughn continue to use fresh ingredients to create menus that rotate seasonally. This season make sure to check out the BBQ chicken atop corn succotash and agrodolce. Don't miss the truffle ricotta mezzaluna with delicate oyster mushrooms and fresh peas; and red snapper with artichoke barigoule, fava beans and buttery trumpets.

In Brickell... Perricone's Marketplace & Cafe

Brickell is one of the fastest growing areas in Miami, which makes it easy to overlook an old favorite like Perricone's Marketplace & Cafe. The OG founder of $10 Pasta Thursdays, is also home to Meatball Mondays and 2 for $12 sandwiches on Tuesdays.

In Coconut Grove... Ariete

Did someone say Frita Tuesdays? Ariete in Coconut Grove is where you'll find us! The entire menu is always such a treat, but the fritas are no joke.

In Coral Gables... Ortanique on the Mile

One of Miami's favorite Caribbean restaurants. Ortanique on the Mile has been making our mouths water for nearly two decades, and is home to some of the best pork chops in Miami. Chef Cindy Hutson never lets us down.
