Miami Spice Monday: Classic Steakhouses

There’s still one full month left of Miami Spice. We know we are getting our fill of it. Are you? For this week’s #MiamiSpiceMonday we’re all about the classic steakhouse. Miami has tons of them and a large chunk of them are participating with 3 course $39 dinners and $23 lunches. If you’re a steak lover, these are deals too good to pass up.

Smith & Wollensky

One of Miami’s most classic steakhouses will be offering the perfect dinner with a view. Order your petite filet served with fingerling potatoes and roasted asparagus to enjoy after a classic wedge salad. Finish the meal with a slice of coconut cake.

There’s also FREE WINE for "guests in the know" that dine at the restaurant on Mondays and Tuesdays during Miami Spice, they can receive a complimentary glass of S&W red or white wine by mentioning they’ve heard this deal. This secret promotion is only available when requested by the guest and is not being advertised.

Stripsteak by Michael Mina

Take a trip to Fontainebleau Miami Beach for an epic Miami Spice dinner at Stripsteak by Michael Mina. Start the meal with the soft and fluffy buttery rolls and follow that up with a salad or get a little fancy with the ricotta cavatelli made with braised short rib ragout, tomato, parmesan. When it comes to the main event, there are two steak options: wood-grilled filet or grilled churrasco. As far as dessert either option is a win. Enjoy the passion fruit panna cotta or the milk chocolate mousse.

Red, the Steakhouse

This South of Fifth staple has one of the largest menus available during Miami Spice. It changes constantly and features a few off the menu items that are secretly available all year long (hey, chicken parm - we see you) if requested from the kitchen. If you’re looking to order steak at this beloved steakhouse, Chef Peter has your back. The basic Miami Spice menu offers a filet, but there are several upgrade options with everything from a prime ribeye to a bone-in porterhouse. Don’t miss out on the big eye tuna crudo and the Nutella cheesecake while you’re there.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Looking for steak in Coral Gables - Fleming’s has the answer. This restaurant showcases exceptional food and wine, featuring prime hand-cut steaks and 100 wines by the glass from the award-winning, progressive wine list. For the Miami Spice menu diners can feast on a 12oz filet or double thick pork chops. Make sure to save room - we hear the blueberry cheesecake is delicious.

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse

Brickell is home to several different steakhouses - Morton’s, Capital Grille, and Trulucks, but if you’re looking for a steakhouse gorgeous views then Wolfgang’s is where its at. Wolfgang’s pairs the filet mignon with sizzling bacon appetizers, if you’re looking for something heartier than a salad. Finish the meal with a light and fresh key lime pie served with the homemade whipped cream.
