Saturday Sweets: The Ultimate Boozy Frozen Treat From Havana Club Rum & Azucar Ice Cream
Did someone say boozy ice cream? We’re here for it. This week’s Saturday Sweets features a killer collaboration between the real Havana Club Rum (and ambassador Gio Gutierrez) and Little Havana’s Azucar Ice Cream Company. Together they are bringing the people of Miami the rum-infused flan flavored ice cream of our dreams.
“It’s only natural that I would be working with Havana Rum. My roots and soul are as Cuban as if I was standing in the pearl of the antilles but only 90 miles away! I am honored to collaborate with such a fine rum to make the perfect Havana Rum Flan,” says Azcuar owner, Suzy Batlle.
Yesterday, Azucar officially debuted its limited-edition flan ice cream flavor, infused with the real Havana Club Rum and celebrated by giving away a free scoop of their boozy flan ice cream to the first 1,000 people who show up at the shop, along with a special surprise for those of legal drinking age. Hint hint: there’s rum involved.

Even after the first 1,000 scoops the Havana Club flan flavored ice cream will be available at the store and also at Time Out Market Miami when it finally opens this month.
