Finally - gone are the mornings where you wake up thinking about The Salty Donut and realize you have to wait two more days because it's only Tuesday (I know I wasn't alone with this struggle)! The Salty Donut has happily moved into its new home at Wynwood Arcade and is open 6 days a week, only closed on Mondays. Those delicious ( and addicting) artisan donuts will be waiting for you...Tuesday - Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday - Sunday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm or until sold out.
This means that not only are you able to get early morning donuts but you can also fill your soul with Intelligentsia coffee early, too! As opposed to when I would have three cups of coffee before their previous 11 am opening time. My favorite is the Coco Puff infused Ice Latte. The gorgeous exposed brick wall and wooden tables are perfect for that Instagram worthy photo of Chef Max Santiago's creations.
Start the Holidays right and be sure to check out the Eggnog Creme Brûlée donut - a 24 hour raised brioche donut filled with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum eggnog custard, torched and topped with vanilla mascarpone whipped cream and fresh raspberries and locally grown micro greens that's available this week. 'Tis the Season!
As always the menu will rotate flavors but we can still expect to see the classics such as Guava and Cheese, Maple Bacon, Brown Butter + Salt, and Traditional Glazed. Be sure to stop by, and don't be surprised if you run into me working there for the day - I hear they have lightning fast WiFi!
