Bocce Ball Competition with Miami Chefs!

Next...it will be an Olympic sport!  Who knows...Curling in the Winter Olympics, Bocce in the Summer Olympics!

Chef Timon Balloo and Bocce Bar announce Miami’s first official chef’s Bocce Ball Tournament to take place this Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day).  This friendly competition, which entails throwing a smaller ball    ( the pallino ) down one end of a narrow grass court and the two competitors then trying to throw their balls as close to the pallino as possible, welcomes Miami locals to come cheer on some of Miami’s favorite chefs as they face-off for the title of Bocce King/Queen.

Monday’s game kick’s off with Nina Compton of Scarpetta versus Cesar Zapata of The Federal Miami.
