25 Restaurants open for Thanksgiving in Miami

One of the advantages of living in a city means you have options for Holiday cooking and entertaining, and thankfully Miami is no exception

As a matter of fact, based on this list, NO ONE needs to shop, cook or entertain as so many of Miami's top restaurants have created both traditional and not-so-traditional menus for the "Feast of Tryptophan".  So if you haven't already secured that 24-30 lb bird, consider these options:

MIAMI BEACH:

KLIMA Restaurant and Bar introduces its inaugural Thanksgiving Day a la carte offering prepared using Chef Rusti’s signature cooking techniques developed from his Barcelona roots. The Forge on Miami Beach is offering a 3 course plus dessert prix fixe Thanksgiving menu beginning at 5 pm. priced at $72 Per person  $39 Children 8 years and younger. Reservations The Forge  432 41st St. Miami Beach, FL 305 538 8533. 

The Restaurant at The Setai is celebrating Thanksgiving with an elaborate and untraditional brunch and prix fixe dinner menu. On November 26th, they will feature a Thanksgiving Day themed brunch with three seatings.  Classic Thanksgiving dishes will be available including Turkey and Ham, Roasted Honey Glazed Leg of Lamb, Creekstone Strip Loin, Truffle Roasted Murray Farm Chicken, and BBQ Kurobuta Bershire Pork Ribs. An extensive array of seafood will be available. Lastly, the brunch will feature untraditional dishes including Indonesian Beef Rendang, Traditional Pad Thai,Chicken Panang Curry, and Singaporean Laksa. From 7 p.m. – 10 p.m., The Restaurant at The Setai offers a three-course dinner menu with a choice of appetizer, including a Foie Gras “Torchon”, Truffle Dumpling, “Thai Langoustine”,  or Pumpkin Velouté. The Traymore Restaurant and Bar at Metropolitan by COMO, presents its Thanksgiving Day menu from 6 pm to 11:00 pm, for those looking to spend the holiday festivities with the family, while offsetting the usual burden of catering for loved ones at home.  The Traymore Restaurant and Bar at Metropolitan by COMO, Miami Beach offers all the festive trimmings as well as its signature seafood specialties the restaurant is known for. The Dutch will offer a home style Thanksgiving prix-fixe dinner on Thursday, November 26th, with a specialty menu created by Chef de Cuisine Adonay Tafur and Executive Pastry Chef Josh Gripper. Just in time for the holidays, guests can celebrate Thanksgiving at TALDE and Seagrape, both located within the glamorous Thompson Miami Beach Hotel. Executive Chef John Iatrellis of Miami Beach’s seafood hotspot, Lure Fishbar, will be serving a delectable Thanksgiving tasting menu for $45 per person (excluding gratuity). The dinner begins with a butternut squash bisque served with toasted pumpkin seeds and crème, followed by a roasted pear and shallot salad topped with endive, bleu cheese, and toasted walnut vinaigrette. For the entrée, guests can enjoy roasted Carolina turkey with all of the fixings served family-style including maple roasted yams, whipped potatoes, wheat berry stuffing, and Italian sausage stuffing. One of 2015’s hottest new restaurants, Quality Meats will be open from 4PM to 10PM on Thanksgiving Day. Mandarin Oriental: La Mar by Gaston Acurio and Azul: Both top restaurants, La Mar and Azul are hosting Thanksgiving dinners.
