Monday June 29th- The Café at Books & Books at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, plays host to Chef Allen Susser’s Monday Night dinners featuring Mediterranean cuisine and the freshest vegetables and fruits South Florida has to offer. The Monday dinner series has become an in-the-know hit since it was launched.  For Monday June 29th Chef Allen Susser will feature Portugal and his vegetarian spin on iconic flavors from the region with freshly selected ingredients from the Adrienne Arsht Center’s weekly Monday night farmer’s market.  Served family style beginning at 6:30 pm at the café’s outdoor communal table. Tuesday June 30th- Miami Spice presents it’s first chef Mashup dinner featuring James Beard Award-winning Chef Michelle Bernstein hosting Chef Michael Pirolo of Macchialina at CENA by Michy. Together, the two will serve an enticing three-course meal of duos, previewing menu items from their respective Miami Spice menus.  This first Mash-Up of the 2015 season is priced at $65 pp and will be a rare opportunity for foodies and Miami Spice devotees to have a sneak taste of what is sure to be two of the hottest Spice menus.  Cena by Michy  6927 Biscayne Blvd. Miami FL  305 759 2001

Wednesday July 1- The Dutch gears up to host it's 4th Annual Bourbon, Beer and 'Cue in the Grove at the W Hotel South Beach. Chef de Cuisine Conor Hanlon will team up with a rotating list of guest chefs and mixologists each Wednesday throughout July to craft a mouth-watering BBQ feast served family-style, featuring seasonal pies and summer sweet treats by pastry chef Josh Gripper. Kicking off on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, Hanlon will team up with Chef Aaron Brooks of EDGE Steak & Bar at Four Seasons Miami for tantalizing feast of classic smokey southern BBQ with all the fixins. Tickets to the weekly BBQ series are $40 per person, including tax and gratuity; excluding beverages. Wednesday July 1st- From from 7 p.m. to close, LDV Hospitality’s Regent Cocktail Club will play host to the first leg of the Bombay Sapphire “Most Imaginative Bartender” competition, with several of Regent Cocktail Club’s own competing. In its 9th year, the competition requires each bartender to prepare an original cocktail with at least six ingredients and must detail their recipe. Imagination is judged upon using modern, experimental techniques, ingredients, flavors, and expressions used in the execution of the cocktail. Winners of the competition receive their own cover on GQ magazine and entry into the Global Competition. Previously, Regent Cocktail Club’s Managing Partner Julio Cabrera won the competition in 2013.
