Weekly Nibble Miami: Coral Gables Restaurant Week, Les Dames, Pubbelly Burgers, Movies at Shore Club

Monday June 8 and ongoing Mondays- Shore Club just launched Monday Movie Nights at 9 pm at the back pool. Chef Steve Rhee prepares a special poolside movie night menu featuring finger foods including Buffalo Lollipops, Lobster Mac & Cheese Bites and -- of course -- Buttered Popcorn finished with Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs. Monday June 8th is Rob Reiner’s 1987 favorite “The Princess Bride.” More quotable favorites will play each Monday throughout the summer. Shore Club will announce each feature on Facebook weekly. Monday June 8Les Dames d'Escoffier Miami will host a multi-course paired wine dinner at Oceanaire Seafood Room in Mary Brickell Village on Monday, June 8.  For this event, Chef Kareem has created an menu highlighting sustainable seafood. Each course will be served with a specially selected wine.  The dinner is priced at $60 for Les Dames members and $70 for non-members and is inclusive of tax and gratuity.   Reservations for the dinner can be made via paypal, by sending payment to reservations@lesdamesmiami.org. 

Monday June 8- Beginning Monday June 8th, It's the 8th Annual Coral Gables Restaurant Week presented by Bacardi USA which runs from June 8th-28th with exciting new restaurants and new unique events.  Basically a chance to "dine around the world... around the neighborhood" as every possible ethnic and international cuisine is just around the corner!  Go for lunch or dinner ( or both! ) and try new eateries and return to old favorites, all offering amazing prix-fixe menus at a discounted price. Wednesday June 10 and ongoing Wednesdays- at Pubbelly Miami Beach, 9 p.m. to midnight, Chef Jose Mendin will be serving up five different quarter pounder burgers.  Starting at $10 for single patty and $5 for extra; standouts include:

Le Royale with Cheese with onion & fig marmalade, foie gras and gruyere truffle jus

Half & Half with spicy shortrib tartare, sunny side up egg, crispy potato and green mustard

Big Kahuna with bbq pork belly, kimchee, pickles, shaved onions and charred pineapples

Morimoto South Beach, Iron Chef Morimoto’s flagship Miami restaurant, has become the first of his iconic restaurants to introduce a prix fixe seasonal Saturday and Sunday brunch menu, which features two options, Healthy and Indulgent at $47 per person.  The healthy prix fixe option includes; an entrée; a maki roll and dessert of their choice.
