Last Chance: Oktoberfest at Pinch Kitchen Miami
October always brings the beginning of the holiday season, tons of pumpkin happiness, and then of course Oktoberfest! The gang at Pinch Kitchen has put together a $39 deal that’s proven to be a great way to celebrate this German holiday.
Don't waste another minute as this festive German-themed dinner is only available thru end of October. The 2 course dinner includes a 17 oz Weihnestpehaner Oktoberfestbier (try saying that three times fast), brewed in the world’s oldest brewery. Once your very large cold beer is brought to your table and you’re all settled in, the food will begin to arrive.
The first course: Flammekueche – a homemade flatbread with Pinch Ricotta, caramelized onions, house-cured duroc pork belly. Homemade, house-cured, PINCH RICOTTA! All of these things are made in house, I almost wouldn’t be surprised if they were growing their own onions. This flatbread is delicious and almost melts in your mouth. I could eat their pork belly for days!
The second course: Kalbsschnitzel – all natural veal schnitzel with house-made coleslaw, arugula and tomato salad. Fo'schnitzel, this schnitzel doesn’t play! I was slightly overwhelmed when it was place in front of me, as it was huge. There was barely space for the arugula and tomato salad on my plate, but I wasn’t complaining. Perfectly breaded and so tender, you can cut it with a butter knife. As I began eating it I almost forgot how big it was and attempted to eat the entire thing. In fact, it was so delicious that I’m sad it won’t be on the regular menu (hint hint to Rene and John).
Whether you are German or not, you should definitely make your way to Pinch before this deal is gone! You won’t regret it. Also, if you’re feeling brave and still have room – try asking for the kimchee guacamole. I know it has nothing to do with Oktoberfest, but it’s one of their current specials and it’s out of control flavorful.
