Tuesday March 8th-  Slow Food Miami presents round seven of its “Snail Social” roaming Happy Hour event, this time at Apeiro Kitchen & Bar, featuring rustic, yet progressive cuisine inspired by the Mediterranean. The local, 100% volunteer non-profit dedicated to planting a fresher future for our children, will hold its seventh “Snail Social” soiree at Apeiro on Tuesday, March 8 from 6PM – 8PM. Wednesday March 9th- Miami Beach’s modern Asian-inspired dining destination, Bazi, noted for its exciting takes on traditional Far East cuisine, is introducing an exclusive monthly Kaiseki dinner with the first one being hosted Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 8PM.  Kaiseki traditionally consists of a sequence of small, artistically arranged dishes that foster a harmonious balance between taste, texture, and aesthetic and will feature 10-12 courses designed and orchestrated by Michael Pirolo Every course will be paired with unique libations ranging from sake to Asian teas courtesy of Bazi’s Beverage Director, William Rivas. Chef Michael Lewis & Steven Haigh’s new Wynwood hotspot KYU is launching brunch Sunday, March 6 2016. The Asian-inspired wood-fired grill will feature staples that have quickly become favorites on KYU’s menu including Crisp Crab Steamed Bun; Grilled Octopus, hearts of Palm, Red Onion and Sudachi Lime; and Pork and Shitake Gyoza, Smoked Truffle Ponzu. “Breakfasty” items will include Banana and Bourbon French Toast with salted butter and maple syrup; Steak & Eggs with fire roasted kimchi and sides like Duck Sausage and Maple-Schicimi Bacon. David Grutman’s Komodo, has announced it will now be open for lunch from 11:30-2:30. Guests will have the option to dine from the prix fixe power lunch menu or the a la carte lunch menu. Priced at $26, the power lunch menu features indulgent Asian flavors with a choice of salad, including the Komodo Chicken, Asian Greens and Crackling Calamari. Diners will indulge in a choice of entrée, including a Sweet Soy Salmon, Shaking Filet of Beef, Lime Chicken Breast and 13 Grilled Spicy Vegetables.
