Tacology in Brickell City Centre
It may be Taco Tuesday, but Wednesdays are made for ladies at the Brickell City Centre. From “dry bars” to tacos, plan your next girls night at Tacology, but make sure to pass by The Dry Bar downstairs first.
That is exactly what we did a few Wednesdays ago for a little midweek pick-me-up. We started on the third level of BCC at The Dry Bar for a quick blowout. One glance at the stylebook, and I knew just the look for my recently chopped locks. In about twenty minutes, the stylist had twirled my hair into shape with her magic (curling) wand.
Our glam game was strong, so we headed upstairs for bites and margs at Tacology.
First things first—a red chili rim on our refreshing margaritas, please. Follow with a must-order. The guacamole trio is made with creamy avocado at the base, and each is then uniquely combined with simple ingredients like Serrano peppers, quinoa, and pomegranate (seasonal).
Another favorite at our table—and one you can capture on a boomerang for all your instagramming pleasure—is the Queso Fundido. This Mexican cheese blend can be topped with your choice of chorizo, huitlacoche, or mushrooms. Stick a fork in it and pull that cheese for the gram! We sure did.
And because you can share your #TacoTuesday picture on any given day, we also ordered a couple rounds of tacos on their homemade corn tortillas.
The Special Ribeye order brings two tacos, and is loaded with ribeye, Mexican chorizo and a crispy chicharron. While the Asada Chicken tacos are folded right side up into a tall shot glass with a serving of their house green salsa.
We had the perfect ending to our night (minus Ryan Gosling onscreen). Our waiter brought out the Corn Pudding, topped with vanilla ice cream, and something they call cajeta also known as dulce de leche. This thickened syrup is like the Nutella for Latinas.
Plan your visit to Tacology this Wednesday for Ladies Night and catch more specials like $6 margaritas from 5-7PM.
