Coral Gables Culinary Month is June 3-23, 2019
The Business Improvement District (BID) of Coral Gables, an autonomous non-profit organization dedicated to advancing commercial vitality in Downtown Coral Gables and Miracle Mile, will kick off its second annual Coral Gables Culinary Month on June 1. Throughout the month, there will be a variety of entertaining activations and dining specials at participating restaurants.
This year also marks the twelfth anniversary of Coral Gables Restaurant Week, taking place June 3-23 during Culinary Month. More than 30 local restaurants, including Ad Lib, MesaMar Seafood Table, Ortanique on the Mile and others, will be offering three-course prix fixe menus at discounted prices and specials during the event's three-week span. While dining at participating eateries, patrons can pick up a “Restaurant Week Passport,” showcasing the participating restaurants, complete with instructions on how to win a gift card to Downtown Coral Gables’ favorite destinations.
“Coral Gables Culinary Month is back with even more ways to enjoy our expanding Downtown Gables restaurant scene,” said Taciana Amador, Executive Director of The Business Improvement District. “With so many events and specials available, including our signature Coral Gables Restaurant Week, there is something for every foodie to enjoy.”
During Culinary Month, popular area restaurants will host special events, from tasting dinners to mixology classes and wine pairings at new and established favorites. There’s also the Bark Crawl, a doggy twist on a bar crawl that will take dog owners and their furry friends on a journey through the district’s restaurants that feature outdoor spaces and offer up refreshing drinks and pet-friendly treats. Surprises are in store with “Freebees on the Freebee,” where unsuspecting Freebee riders will have the opportunity to participate in a Coral Gables trivia challenge and compete for prizes from local restaurants.
