Don’t Miss the 4th Annual Drink Miami Hostel at Freehand Miami

On Saturday, June 1, Drink Miami Hostel and over 50 different brands will take over Freehand Miami from 1 to 5 p.m. The event will take place throughout all three floors, the gardens, courtyards and even 27 Restaurant with top brands showcasing specialty cocktails and special decked out spaces.

Upon arrival, all guests will receive a passport listing all of the participating brands, their location, and their featured cocktail (and recipe).  As soon as each attendee snaps their passport photo, they’ll be free to roam throughout the property and event to sample each cocktail and collect stamps at each stop to remember where they have visited.

DRINK Miami was created by Gabe Urrutia, Gio Gutierrez and Matt Hirsch. This is the fourth year of the event, and the founders promise that this year will be bigger and better than ever (if that’s even possible).

“Year after year, the DRINK Miami Hostel continues to expand and has sold out every time. In our fourth year, we’re especially excited because it’s our biggest year yet…This continues our commitment to highlighting the best wine, spirits & beer Miami has to offer,” says Gabe Urrutia.

Participating brands include Grey Goose, Ilegal Mezcal, Tito’s Vodka, Casamigos, Flor de Cana, Bacardi, Campari, Ketel One, Jagermiester, Coconut Cartel, Havana Club, Monkey Shoulder, Don Q,Three Olives Vodka Rose, Bombay Sapphire, Santa Teresa, Leblon, Maestro Dobel and more.

Guests can also expect a few fun surprises during the event and MIAbites has the sneak peek of this year’s DRINK Miami Hostel:

Campari will create a Tour of Italy outside of 27 Restaurant where guests will sip from Sicily to Milan to Bormio with Aperol Spritzes (who cares what New York Times Food says), Negronis, and Amari.

Pernord Ricard will take over the upstairs area at 27 Restaurant with cocktails from Absolut Elyx, Smooth Ambler, Avion, Lillet and Jameson.

As if that’s enough to wet your whistle, Veza Sur Brewing Co. will feature ‘cafecito at Abuela’s house’, which is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

General admission tickets are $60 and include entrance from 2 to 5 p.m. For just $40 more, attendees can purchase a VIP ticket ($100 each), which includes an early event entry starting at 1 p.m. during the VIP hour, a limited edition DRINK Miami t-shirt and a swag bag valued at over $100.

We can’t think of a better way to kick off the summer than day-drinking while enjoying spirits from over 50 hand-selected brands in a unique property in the heart of Miami Beach.
