Saturday Sweets: Cheesecake Favorites in Miami

cheesecake

I think it’s safe to say almost everyone loves a good cheesecake. It’s creamy and delicious, it can be made with fillings and in tons of different flavors. There’s something for everyone. Personally I’m a sucker for two extremes - either lots of chocolate (think Nutella or Oreos) or keep it simple with a classic base and some fresh fruit.

However you prefer your cheesecake, there are plenty of options. Here’s a list of a few of our current cheesecakes and where you can get them! Just in time for National Cheesecake Day this past Sunday.

Kings Bowl Doral

Cheesecake Three Ways: Why eat one type of cheesecake when you can have three? Kings Bowl Doral serves up Cheesecake ‘Three Ways’ featuring Nutella, Strawberry & Peanut Butter Cup slices. Sounds like a strike to us.

Traditional Cheesecake: Sometimes less is more, which is exactly why PM Fish and Steak House’s traditional cheesecake is the perfect way to celebrate national cheesecake day. The hefty slice features a chocolate crust and is topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream.

Mango Cheesecake: This gluten-free, dairy-free cheesecake is full flavor without the guilt. The pretty plate is served with pistachio crust and topped with a lime curd and blueberries.

Oreo Cheesecake, Cake Batter Cheesecake, Guava Cheesecake: The neighborhood favorite spot in Kendall always has cheesecake on hand. Lately they’ve been bringing out the big guns like the Cake Batter Cheesecake that is covered in sprinkles and makes everyone happy.

Red Velvet Cheesecake: The famed contemporary steakhouse offers over-the-top cheesecakes by the slice or by the whole cake. A standout is its Red Velvet Cheesecake, made with two layers of red velvet cake separated by two layers of cheesecake topped with buttery cream cheese icing and red velvet cake crumbles. Even a slice is big enough to share, if you’re feeling up to sharing.
