New Years Eve Miami: Where to Celebrate the beginning of a new decade
As we prepare to celebrate the holidays and enter a new decade, it’s important to consider WHO and WHERE you will ring in the New Year. Below are some of our favorite locations to celebrate:
International Smoke Miami (19565 Biscayne Blvd Suite 946, Aventura, FL 33180)
Ayesha Curry & Michael Mina’s restaurant at Aventura Mall will celebrate the new decade with an $80 Chef’s tasting menu featuring their signature favorites. Starters include bao buns, wagyu shaking beer, and chilled shellfish. While the main dishes included several items from their international mixed grill such as grilled ribeye, Mediterranean seabass, and smoked St. Louis ribs served with truffle mac & cheese and char Siu pork & lobster fried rice. Save room for dessert because they’re serving up Fireman Derek’s key lime pie, and spun-to-order frozen yogurt. It’s a celebration you don’t want to miss!
Mondrian South Beach (1100 W Ave Miami Beach, FL 33139)
Experience the height of Miami luxury this New Year’s Eve at the Mondrian South Beach. With a delectable buffet dinner and four-hour premium open bar from 8:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m., as well as unparalleled views of Miami’s Biscayne Bay and seating options that range from ballroom and poolside to bayfront and balcony. A live DJ will be playing chart-toppers, hip hop, electronic and R&B beats. As the DJ leads a countdown, guests will enjoy a breathtaking fireworks show and a complimentary glass of bubbly. The buffet will also feature not one, but FOUR carving stations, complete with slow-roasted chateaubriand and foie gras. Have a ravishing “Night in Monte Carlo” at Villa Azur. Experience the sophisticated and lavish atmosphere of the glamorous French Riviera upon entering a sumptuous and refined decor with a live pianist, Dj, casino tables, magician and much more. Cafe Prima Pasta (414 71st Street Miami Beach, FL, 33141)
At Cafe Prima Pasta, the family-owned and operated North Beach restaurant, ring in the new decade with an incredibly good Italian three-course prix fixe menu. Highlights include Octopus and Shrimp, Mini Fiocchi, Burrata Salad, Seabass, Ravioli Porcini, Black Risotto Seafood and Tiramisu. The restaurant’s old school charm will transport you to your Nonna’s house filled with aromas from the kitchen and classic decorations throughout the space. On the walls, guests will find all the notable celebs that have visited the restaurant including Madonna, Beyonce, Khloe Kardashian, Lenny Kravitz and much more.
Ariete (3540 Main Highway Coconut Grove, FL)
This New Year’s Eve, diners can delight in delicious offerings at Coconut Grove eatery Ariete. Chef Michael Beltran will be offering two festive five-course menus with options for meat lovers and vegetarians from 4PM-11PM. Priced at $125 per person (excluding tax and gratuity), each menu includes one bottle of champagne for the table. Options include stone crab with cucumber nasturtium aguachile, mustard seed pickles, finger limes; lobster wellington; and the Ariete short rib. The experiential Miami outpost of the world-renowned eatery, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, will be featuring two tasting menu experiences to celebrate the end of 2019. On New Year’s Eve, the Miami Design District restaurant will have an Early Gala Seating from 5PM until 6PM; or a Second Gala Seating from 8PM until 10PM. Both seatings will offer tasting menus made up of L’Atelier favorites and classics. Le Jardinier, the vegetable-forward eatery by Michelin-starred Chef Alain Verzeroli, will be offering two New Year’s Eve dinner seatings for guests looking for lighter fare before the celebration.
