Burger Beast's Frita Showdown 2014

Competition in Miami is fierce…especially when it comes to who has the Best Frita in El Mundo!  And Miami’s Sef Gonzalez, a.k.a Burger Beast, is no stranger to encouraging healthy competition, first with his popular Burger Brawl and now, once again hosting this Wednesday's Frita Showdown 2014!

Last years winner, El Rey de las Fritas returns to defend their 2013 Frita Showdown win against 5 new competitors; Bread and Butter, Cuban Guys, Finka Table and Tap, Latin House and El Mago de la Fritas as they battle it out at Magic City Casino on Wednesday August 13th from 7-10 pm.

Burger Beast takes this competition very seriously naming top local chef judges; Richard Hales of Midtown Chinese and Sakaya Kitchen, Jose Mendin of Pubbelly, John Kunkel CEO of 50 Eggs, Inc. and TV celebrity, Roxanne Vargas of NBC 6 South Florida.

Tickets are available at $35 for this taste of local nostalgic rivalry, and MIAbites will be in attendance with a fun recap in the future!
