Estrella Damm Culinary Journey Miami: The Perfect Pair
As we wind down on the last 2 days of the month-long Estrella Damm Culinary Journey in Miami, we had the opportunity to visit three restaurants this week hosting The Perfect Pair, a chef-selected dish paired with a bottle of Estrella Damm.
Sweet Liberty- 237 20th St suite b, Miami Beach, FL 33139
A regular on the World’s 50 Best and North America’s 50 Best Bars List, Sweet Liberty offers creative cocktails and delicious American fare by James Beard winning chef, Michelle Bernstein.
“The food I love to cook is the food I have loved throughout my life”, Bernstein says. She and her husband, David Martinez also own Café La Trova, La Cañita and Michelle Bernstein Catering.
The Perfect Pair: Cuban Torta of pork belly with prosciutto, Swiss Cheese, Avocado, pickles, jalapeño aioli, chipotle aioli and brown mustard on doppio bread. Includes chips and 1 Estrella Damm.
Sala’o Cuban Restaurant- 1642 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135
Sala’o Cuban Restaurant and Bar serves Cuban inspired food and plenty of seafood. The old world, 1940’s inspired restaurant on Calle Ocho is an homage to Ernest Hemingway and his book “The Old Man and The Sea”.

Mexico City’s Grupo Zeru’s first International outpost serves coastal Mediterranean Basque cuisine. Helmed by Chef/Partner Israel Aretxiga and Executive Chef Gabriela Guitrón, who recently located from Mexico.
