Miracle in Miami Brings Christmas Cheer to Wynwood
A Christmas pop-up bar has made its way to Miami for the first time. From now until December 23rd, Christmas lovers can head to the backroom at Wynwood’s Gramps to indulge in Christmas themed cocktails, music, and more.
Miracle In Miami is part of almost 100 Christmas pop-up bars around the country, a phenomenon that started with Greg Boehm of Cocktail Kingdom who turned his New York City bar into a Christmas palace in 2014. Miracle is being brought to Miami by the guys behind DRINK Miami, in partnership with Gramps’ owner Adam Gersten.
It’s a month of full holiday cheer and endless Christmas music. Guests can expect fun surprises like snowfall and late night complimentary cookies. Bartenders decked out in holiday gear and fun wintery twists on classic cocktails.
The cocktail menu at Miracle In Miami indulges in all of the flavors of the holiday season, from the refreshingly spiced Gingerbread Flip (bourbon, gingerbread syrup, elemakule tiki bitters, whole egg, and gingersnap cookie crumbs) to the intensely flavored Christmas Carol Barrel (rum, aquavit, amaro, pumpkin pie, lemon, orange, and bitters). No holiday cocktail menu is complete without its take on the classic eggnog — except at Miracle in Miami it’s served frozen. The Jingle Balls Nog features brown butter fat-washed cognac, sherry, almond milk, cream, sugar, egg, and nutmeg all frozen and served in a cute Christmas mug.
Special events such as live Christmas music, karaoke, ugly sweater contests, guest bartenders, and more will take place throughout the month. Keep up with the special events by following them on Instagram.
Miracle In Miami is 21 and up, no entry fee, and reservations are not accepted. The Christmas pop-up bar will be open daily from November 23 through December 23 and is available for private party buyouts. Hours are Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
