Time Out Market Miami : The New Food Concepts
Two years ago almost to the day, COVID shut down all restaurants and hotels in Miami and on Miami Beach.
The wildly popular Time Out Market at 1601 Drexel Ave off Lincoln Road, was among those that remained closed for almost a full year and it is exciting to see it bustling once again and boasting new concepts.
As an invited Media guest, I joined other food bloggers to sample the newest concepts and after a few hours of eating and drinking feel confident that Time Out Market Miami is back!
Introducing the new players:
Necessary Purveyor- A wonderful new addition with satisfying choices to please all palates. Proprietor, Tyler Dabestani doesn’t make it an easy decision with a variety of sandwiches, one more tempting than the next. But it is obvious why the Green Forager is the top sellier.
It is built as a vegetarian option featuring watermelon and cucumber with feta, arugula and avocado on artisan foccacia bread.
Salad lovers will rejoice at the Little Gem Caesar Salad with parmesan crisps sprinkled on top.
Clyde’s Caribbean- Miami Beach welcomes the island twist on fast casual with the lightly fried MahiMahi sandwich on fried dough bread and topped with a tangy tamarind and mango chutney.
The pickled slaw added a nice crunch. A side of cassava chips completed a taste of the Caribbean.
Little Liberty- With a menu created by James Beard winner Chef Michelle Bernstein, the little sister to popular Sweet Liberty is a nice new addition. We loved the Smashburger as a classic burger with cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce and onion.
Pair it with a classic milkshake or make it boozy and you are all set.
Bebitos Cafecito- A mainstay at any Miami food hall is the Cafecito, and Bebitos offers a choice of hot or iced espresso drinks, such as a cortadito, or café cubano. Freshly baked pastries like the almond croissant and you can start your day or your shopping excursion on nearby Lincoln Road.
