We just couldn’t wait for Taco Tuesday to feature the new Taquiza location on Collins at 13th Street. After what felt like an eternity to Taquiza fans since the original South Beach location closed over the summer, due to the sale of the building, a new and sparkling Taquiza has opened in a larger space a few blocks south.

La Santa Taqueria is the creation of chef Omar Montero, a Mexico City native who spent years traveling and working with some of Latin America’s and North America’s finest restaurants and hotels, including most recently The Setai, and Cantina La Veinte.
